Debut book by Amelie Anastasia
Amelie’s first book, Fox Tales, is comprised of two short stories about the friendship of a pair of young foxes, Nya and Hazel. After an involuntary stay in the human world, the kits find their way back home to the wilderness where they can dream of being forever happy.
The author reminds us through her engaging narrative that the forest behind our houses may not be so ordinary after all, and that it will reveal many secrets and adventures to those of us who look and listen carefully. Fox Tales 2
A year later, Amelie, a nine-year-old girl from Petoskey, Michigan, invites us again into the colorful world of forest foxes who live for their freedom, which they love above all else.
Nya and Hazel, the two main fox heroes we first met in Fox Tales, are now joined by their two-month-old sibling Fern, who will become the main character in her own right of this new adventure. Follow Fern's transformation from a hungry, impatient and whimpering fox kit to a confident hero, able to save herself and a new friend from the perils of the human world.
Fox Tales 2 is a celebration of life, freedom, youth and joy. Through her Fox Tales, Amelie shows us how much beauty and poetry can be found by those who look carefully and listen patiently: in spring beauty, the forest floor, and in playful moments with siblings. In showing us the beauty of the natural world, the creators of this book hope to remind us of our privilege and responsibility to preserve and protect the forest for all of the future fox and human kits to come.

About the author…
Patricia Adderley is the author of five books now including her most recent book "My Heart Christ's Home: 100 Days of Joy and Strength in Jesus".
Patricia is a former missionary and actress and has been writing for over 20 years now. It was while serving as a missionary in a Christian repertory theater company called the Covenant Players that she first started to write.
"When writing poetry, it is often like the Psalms- a combination of prayers and worship. It’s an outpouring of her heart in the moment."
Having struggled with self-worth while growing up, Patricia hopes to help and inspire others to discover who God created them to be and to grow in their relationship with God.
She has also just celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary with the love of her life- John. She is now learning to play the piano and to draw and paint and has traveled extensively all over the United States with her husband.
