DEVELOP TOLERANCE IN YOUR CHILDREN

Today, I’d like to share a snippet from a blog from Character First Education, an excellent producer of engaging, character curriculum. Click the link above to read and share the entire relevant blog with your kids, especially tweens and teens.

Isn’t This Amazing???

My friend’s cow, Maggie Moo, gave birth to her third baby on Valentine’s Day, 2023. He’s a cute little bull calf that deserves his name: Valentino. I love the heart on his side. Perfection! Mooooving.

(Did you know a heifer doesn’t become a cow until she has a baby? And, what’s more, a dairy cow needs to have a baby every year to keep the milk coming and for her health.)

They don’t have room for this little guy, so they’re looking for a home for him after he’s weaned. If you know of anyone who wants a Jersey bull (or steer) with great genetics and is certified A2A2, let me know.

Still a little wet, but standing! (The bright white heart is on the other side.)

Chickadee Cheer - February Giveaway

I was thrown off by my hospital stay and forgot to award a giveaway for February last time. So, congratulations to Mom2. You’ve won either something from my shop OR an original watercolor from me. I’ve missed painting and would love to paint something — just for you — if you like. Please respond to the email that will be sent to start our conversation.

Looking forward to spring…
