Glue words are sometimes called sticky words or filler words. They are usually unnecessary and slow down the pace of the story in the narrative parts. Dialogue is completely different. You want your characters to sound natural and, trust me, we use many of these words in our everyday speech. You’ll see what I mean when you see the list. Watch the video below created by an editor who understands.

Use this now, in school, whenever you’re writing a report or an essay. You will impress your teacher!

Cover Reveal

Rachel Lawston of Lawston Designs designed the front cover. As you can see, it’s similar to the first book. Now it’s Emeline (the series).
