November, 2025 Author Update
Thanksgiving
I’m thankful to have avoided shoulder surgery, so far. Thanks to God for his provision and a wonderful physical therapist. Movement has improved through baby steps.
Our youngest daughter was hit in a parking lot by a crazy driver exiting a parking aisle at high speed. Our daughter’s car was totaled, but, thankfully, she is fine. The other car sustained damage, but could drive. No one was hurt there either.
This was the first car our daughter selected and bought by herself just last July. Fortunately, the security department provided her with video footage of the accident, proving she was 100% NOT at fault. The other driver did stop and had active insurance—a blessing. Hopefully, she has found the twin of this car. We’ll see. Many excellent reasons to give thanks to God throughout this event!

Now, we have her first ribbon! AKC Puppy…
But, we’re going to repeat the class—to make her more reliable with the commands—and let her mature before we attempt the ACK Good Citizen award in January.
And, to let my shoulder heal, hopefully.
