About the Story

Nibber & Captain Make Peace introduces young readers to a conflict between two very different animals: Captain, a fun-loving otter, and Nibber, a hard-working beaver. When Captain damages Nibber’s carefully built lodge and dam, strong feelings rise—and both characters must learn how to handle anger and resolve conflict peacefully.

Through this relatable animal story, children see that disagreements can be worked through with patience, communication, and understanding.
