Robert Krenzel
Veteran, Robert (Bob) Krenzel aims to fill in the blanks in this important period of history through his six, going on seven, young adult novels. Personal visits to historic locations and first-person accounts inspire and provide accurate research. His actual combat experience in Iraq and Afghanistan provides depth in his characters and plot, and writing these novels is cathartic for him.
He loves bringing his knowledge to the classroom, as well. Usually, eighth grade is the perfect audience for him because they’re studying American history. Here’s his contact information. Recommend him to your history teachers.
I hope you enjoy our video interview as much as I did.
