Author Update
April - One of My Favorite Months
I’m thankful that, for all the craziness in our world today, we still have good people doing all they can to change it for the better. It’s the main reason I write.
My first mentor, had this to say recently - challenging words worth remembering.
Oakwood Acres
This is the working title for my upcoming series of five early reader chapter books, hopefully releasing in 2025.
Because the books will be twice as long as the previous series where each book contained about 2500 words. In order to keep easy wins, I’m doubling the amount of chapters, but keeping each one short.
So far, I’m only half-way through the first book. By May, it should be completed except for the illustrations. Pip O’Possum is a pretty exciting story, though. The theme is diligence, but obedience is in there, too.
Midwest Parent Educators - Homeschool Conference
I’ll have a table at this event at the KCI Expo Center this weekend. If you’re attending, please come by and see me!
Here’s a link for all the information (dates/times) if you need it.
Finding Strength: During the Panic of 1893
After over a year of hard work, this title is not out in 3 formats: ebook, softcover, and hardcover print. The audiobook will come around this summer.
If you’ve read it, I’d love to know what your favorite part(s) were. Email me, please.
