Thank you, Barbara. I loved our brief time together and will keep in touch.

Thank you for interviewing me, Kathy. If readers would like to find the daughters of Zelophehad in the Bible, they can read Numbers 26:33, 27:1-11, 36:1-12, Joshua 17:2-6 and I Chronicles 7:15. “Lioness: Mahlah’s Journey” will cover mid-Numbers through the first chapters of Joshua.

Audiobook Review: A Home in the Wilderness, by Amanda M. Cetas

Kathy J Perry

4.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding setting and time period. Lots of action and well-developed characters.

The author must have researched extensively to make the reader feel as though he/she was in this time period. Excellent work! The only reason I didn't give the book a 5-star rating was because of the amount of action. If you enjoy lots of action, then it's a 5-star read. I cared about the characters a lot by the end of the story, though, and wonder if there will be a sequel.

The narrator did a fine job, given the amount of accents he was required to have. But because of these, I may have been able to keep track of places and characters better by reading. I'm a visual learner. If the print version has a map, that would help readers as well.

A very interesting time period: the struggle of emigrants in the New World with the Native Americans. Thank you for writing it, Amanda. Will you write a sequel?
