After our recorded session, we visited for another twenty minutes. Amelie is delightful, smart, and sensitive. She shows a great deal of compassion and empathy for people as well as animals.

Patricia Adderley is the author of five books now including her most recent book "My Heart Christ's Home: 100 Days of Joy and Strength in Jesus".

Patricia is a former missionary and actress and has been writing for over 20 years now. It was while serving as a missionary in a Christian repertory theater company called the Covenant Players that she first started to write.

"When writing poetry, it is often like the Psalms- a combination of prayers and worship. It’s an outpouring of her heart in the moment."

Having struggled with self-worth while growing up, Patricia hopes to help and inspire others to discover who God created them to be and to grow in their relationship with God.

She has also just celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary with the love of her life- John. She is now learning to play the piano and to draw and paint and has traveled extensively all over the United States with her husband.
